I replaced the factory bulbs with leds in my instrument cluster and climate control panel. They are all 194 bulbs. The leds work fine in the cluster but not at all in the control panel. I reversed the bulb 180 degrees to make sure I had the right polarity. Still nothing. I had to put the factory bulbs back in the control panel. Any suggestions?

i put LED brake light bulbs in my truck one time(only bulbs i had here at the time),2000 F150,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WENT CRAZY AS A BAT!had to put the regular 3157LL back in it.
I did the same thing. only my lights were not working at all in my climate control. (99 ranger) so i figured, this would be a perfect time to swap out all of my dash lights and those. i ,made a project of it. my dash lights worked fine now for the last 3 months until a day ago, and now 2 of the bulbs are flickering. however the climate control ones never worked. Quite frustrating. so i am contemplating making a junkyard trip to see if i can rip one out of another ranger/explorer. in other words, i am on here looking for the same answers you are. just figured id let you know you are not alone in the struggle.
I heard an interesting little saying the other day... "The juice ain't worth the squeezing" ... Same thing swapping out the cluster bulbs as far as I'm concerned... But I reckon whatever one wants to do is ok by me!
i'm gonna ponder on that for a while! i kinda run my truck out of oil! why did my engine LOCK UP?well the oil light did come on a lot,but i just ignored that.is it OK? first, batteries in a-s backwards and now running em slap outta OIL,and then wanna know what is going ON?
