Yes, I have correct battery. I found a photo of the battery correctly installed. I did have mine installed backwards. Now it's correct. Regarding the cable colors. Mine are both black and the original cables. I bought this car new. They weren't always color coded. Thanks for the replies. Kent

Next time , easiest way is to trace the cables and see which one is bolted to a body/frame , or engine part, that is the ground. Glad you got it. Hopefully no blown fuses.
