Have a 2003 Ford F-150 air condition compressor turns on once in awhile and then doesn't turn on have voltage to low pressure switch . And jumped out the low pressure switch it doesn't turn on at all no voltage change out the low pressure and high pressure switches relays fine and have good fuse so could it be switch on the dashboard bad. Also never added Freon into the system but you need to compressor running to add freon to the system correct

With low pressure switch jumpered - TEST for *battery voltage* and ground at a/c compressor wire connector .. Possible failed compressor clutch field coil. Best to use dvom for testing.
Before you get into this check pressures with a gauge set. If it's low the compressor may not work at times. Alex
You could have several different issues with your A/C from a bad clutch to low freon. We can help figure it out and repair it for you. Give Charlotte a call at 609-689-0688 and she will get you an appointment.
With a/c turned on - *carefully* and lightly bump compressor clutch front plate with screwdriver handle to see if compressor will engage - IF that works - check air gap - IF air gap is ok - the field coil is the culprit. IF you’re not familiar / comfortable with going about these test - seek *hands-on* help from qualified personnel. Good luck!
