I have a 1993 dodge stealth and the serpentine belt is stripping but not breakin

So do you know about how much a shop would charge me to fix it?

Would depend on what has gone out of position and why.

What could be causing the belt to strip. I've done put 2 new belts on and both belts strip one strand off the side but doesn't break.
