where is the engine coolant temperature sensor on a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 3.7L

Usually at the thermostat housing, but may not be your problem! Possible thermostat, wire/connector. CIRCUIT low does not mean sensor is bad. Mechanic with a scanner is your best bet.
