What is your question?
Since it has been cold out (below freezing) once or twice a week I will get in my car and the radio clock says 12:00 and it seems like the engine doesn't want to start. it does but wonder if there is a short anywhere. had battery checked and it was fine.

Have battery load tested by a 'mechanic' with the proper equipment!.. When trying to crank engine, battery voltage is getting low enough to reset stereo clock to default!!.... That shouldn't happen IF battery were "fine"..!!!!!
IF it's the original battery , replace it AND I'll second the first reply!
Thank you very much. It was the battery (advanced Auto checked it and said it was fine first) Mechanic also noticed the cable was very croded. Needed new tie rods too............. $$$$ Right before Christmas.
Never fails! .. Always something, it seems... However if that's the worse that happens... be alright!... Happy Holidays!!
