no my question is how much is labor if you have to replace oil dipstick tube rep

was it broken off before you took it in to the 10 minute oil changer people?

This is a weird one for sure .. In fact WAY too weird!! radiator replaced;went to check oil after & dipstick broken. Any way they did it on 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Our PT cruiser was running hot. We took it to a garage & we had to have the radiator replaced. A few days after the radiator was replaced, my husband attempted to check the oil & found that the dipstick was broken. Could that have occurred when the radiator was replaced? The garage said that couldn't have happened since the radiator was pulled from below. ▪️Asked by Visitor for the 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser in Muskogee, OK on March 23, 2017▪️ Seems mighty strange to me!

NOT really sure how they pulled the radiator 'from below', I replaced one on an '01 PT a year ago, it came out the top, easily, like most others I've done, and came nowhere near the oil dipstick. I will say, the PT I was working on , had a LOT of rust on the dipstick tube, so if that's the case with yours , it may have just rotted?? Can be visually confirmed.
