I have Chevrolet TrailBlazer LS 2008 having 65000 miles . I am facing problem of dropping of temperature gauge while driving. It comes automatically after some hours during driving. One of the mechanic has replaced temperature sensor but problem still persists. Moreover, once temperature needle goes down to zero during driving, Airconditioning COOLING system also stops working during that period. Please help me.

hi, thanks for reply. All modules have been checked through computer tester LAPTOP with my vehicle. Only problem was reported as "temperature coolent sensor fault"...so accordingly , I got it replaced. But problem is still there. What should I do now ?

Hello Haroon ! Have you fixed the problem yet or still clueless? I will appreciate if you let me know as I am facing the same problem and I dont want to be robbed by different technicians saying different things. Please help.
I have the same problem with my 2008 trailblazer., Temp gage not working and A/C not working, Intermittent problem, any one have a fix? Thanks Charlie
Any decently equipped auto repair shop can use a *professional quality scanner* set to functional test and check the signal to ALL GAUGES in the instrument cluster.. Then each gauge can be tested with the scanner to see if it is responding accordingly .. Im talking about a REAL automobile scanner that probably cost 8k $ and up .. NOT some lap top or code reader! .. I have performed this test many times and had NO problem determining the culprit .. It is either the temperature sensor, wiring or the gauge .. Period!
