Thanks to both of u I have turned the engine over for more than 30 seconds water shoots out of cylinder 4 3 5 can I suck the water out with my vacuum this is my 3rd time pullin plugs trying to get water off of cylinders
3.4, 3.8, or 5.7 engine?? What sort of "lower intake repair" did you do?? Drain the coolant back out to see if this stops! Has the engine started since you did this work? Had it running?
Ok reason I changed lower is because I saw it leaking with vehicle running before I tore it down now that I have put it back together won't start due to water on cylinder what is the next option to getting water clean so it start up and run
OK, it was running before!! So, just maybe, you have created this problem. Are you SURE it was not just those plastic heater hose connectors that go into the front of the intake?? That is a very common problem on this engine!! Just trying to help figure this out!
Not really, have someone pressure test the cooling system, that should tell you if you have a leak! That is all i can tell you to do at this point. And good luck with it!
Once you removed the upper, it won't reseal properly. It's plastic and warps. Water gets everywhere when the seal is bad. Putting another gasket on it has not worked. Parts store sells a good Dorman replacement. I have been there and already tried an easier way, replaced and I'm done. If you want to talk give me your phone number.
once again I thank the both of u everything turned out great had trouble getting all air of system but its running like a charm now I actually got a pluemn from a friend that had one and put on very much appreciated
Forgot what i was going to say! Old age i guess. Oh yeah, 'WAS' it leaking at the front of the intake about where those 90° plastic hearer hose connector pipes go in the intake????? (oops!!!!!) That sure looks like an intake leak until you really look CLOSE!!

3.8 series 2 and no the engine hasn't started yet since the work lower intake gaskets
Usually the plenums go bad on those engines. Have changed the plenums, but haven't had to change lower gaskets.

If the lower is good now. The plenum is your problem. You did remove the plenum to access the lower, correct?
Yes I removed plenum to replace lower
