I put the OBD II tool on my Corvette and I got a code P0343

The engine codes website does not tell you how to fix it , the main thing it told me was the check engine light comes on, hard starting, and possibly a low battery. Could you please tell what I can do to fix it? I am not used to the computers or this new stuff. It sure was easy to fix cars back in the 70's and early 80's. Thank you for your patience.

the only real way is a real mechanic with a real scan tool with live data! that's just the way it is now.you get a check engine light and a code(s).then you look up what they mean and it gives you probable causes of things it COULD be! in other words you have 5 or more things it could be,so you start guessing at it,or throwing parts/money at it,hoping that will fix it,but it don't! it sure ain't like it used to be in the 70's no more! i know you have a very nice car,but as technology advances we are clueless.it's 46 years past 1970 and i don't like it either! post your question again,to the attention of Pushrod.he has been working and fixing cars for 43 years and seen the changes,so as far as i know he has more knowledge than anyone on this site,and still does this for a living as i type this.good luck!

Thank you again, you are right and the Chevrolet place told me not trust the car, have it towed over here $150.00, $600.00 to look at it and if is the computer $1500.00 depending which one it was. I guess They have me worried ever since. Thank you, stevieray1
