I took the dash out to replace the radio and I unhooked all connections to install another radio that would work. One was the air bag light and it is put back together and the light continues to flash all the time.
Question Asked: What do I need to do or look for now ?
March 17, 2017, 08:40 PM
I was going to install a remote starter and I cut into the orange wire at the ignition switch and accidentally touched the frame and I got a spark then the check engine light came on. I used my OBD tool and got a code of P0340. So I cleared the code and cranked the car up again and the check engine light came back on so I cut the car off checked the code again and this time the code came up as P0343. I have checked all the relays and the test light comes on when I ground 85 and power to 86 and 30, so I ground the test light and touch 87 and the light comes on each relay. Is there another way to check relays to see if they are putting out the right ohms or does that matter ? I check the fuses with a test light and also an ohm meter and they test good. What do I do now or what should I look for now ?

Question Asked: Which set of fuses do I need to checK?
February 05, 2016, 09:36 PM
Thank you Sir I cleared the code and it came back. I even cleared it a second time and it did come back again. Do I need to check the fuses under the hood or in the drivers floor board? I called a Chevrolet shop and they told me that I needed to have it towed over to their shop. The serviceman told me it would probably start at $600.00 and or whatever it would take to get it back right. But that was just a guess and he would need it at his shop to evaluate the problem. How would I check or test those black box fuses in the fuse block area? Thank You
Question Asked: My check engine light stays on and I got a code of P0340 .what do I look for?
January 09, 2016, 07:39 PM
I was going to hook up a remote starter so I was skinning the orange wire for the accessory and my knife touched a piece of metal. It made a spark and the check engine light came on.I bought the OBD II to check to see what code I would get and it gave me the P0340 code.Did I blow a fuse or relay? The camshaft position sensor I know where it is but I was trying to follow the wiring and it goes to the PCM under the hood right side of engine compartment according to the internet. Did I burn up the PCM or can anyone point me in another direction. I want to fix it but I would like someone with experience to tell what I can do besides taking it to the Chevrolet shop. Please help me!
Question Asked: Where can I find the camshaft positioning sensor on my 2002 corvette 5.7L .
September 12, 2015, 10:51 PM
Where do the wires run from the camshaft positioning sensor to get it's voltage? Is it a fuse, relay or the box under the hood. I am trying to see where the camshaft positioning sensor is fed from or where it gets it's feed from. Please Help.
Question Asked: Can anyone please tell me where the camshaft position sensor will be located?
August 22, 2015, 10:36 PM
My Corvette takes longer to start,it will run rough a little bit and when I cut it off the starter will wind for several seconds before it starts back up. I bought an inexpensive model of the OBD11 when I hooked it up it gave me a code of P0343 camshaft position sensor A-Bank 1 Circuit High Input. Would it be better for me to test the voltage going to it first or is this common for these to go out? But I have to find it first. Please help me.Thank you
