What is your question?
My Corvette takes longer to start,it will run rough a little bit and when I cut it off the starter will wind for several seconds before it starts back up. I bought an inexpensive model of the OBD11 when I hooked it up it gave me a code of P0343 camshaft position sensor A-Bank 1 Circuit High Input. Would it be better for me to test the voltage going to it first or is this common for these to go out? But I have to find it first. Please help me.Thank you
Thank you for your answer, this sounds like it will be hard to check the voltage or change out.
Yeah ... it's not DIY!... Best to leave it to a mechanic with proper tools & talent..
Great advice does the code:P0343 focus on the camshaft position sensor only or could there be something else that would trigger that code.
Good question!... It's ALWAYS other possibilities!... Trouble codes don't necessarily mean the sensor that saw a problem is the culprit. You were right to think about checking the wiring and connector but unfortunately, it's just a B---h to get to it!
Thank you I was hoping it could be something simple. If you think of anything else please let me know.Thank you sir for getting back to me so quickly.
