Anything's possible, but the door actuator and brake lights have nothing in common as far as wire circuits. Now if I remember correctly the driver door module would be involved with the actuator, and window operation. The cruise control is closed and opened by the stoplight switch and controlled by the ECM, and the exterior lighting is controlled through the BCM. I would consider having someone with a Tech2 scanner trouble shoot your problems before you replace anything. PS: all the modules will have to be reprogrammed by the dealer anyway.
the actuator would be wired with driver window and door locks? the door locks you can hear them make a noise but they dont lock and driver window does nothing! what may be the cause of brake lights?
Ok I looked up the wiring diagrams; The windows work through the driver door module, (master switch), Possible bad rocker contacts. The door lock switch, (same module), works the actuator on that door and is also wired through the BCM. The stop lights are wired through the stoplight switch then to the brake light bulbs. The cruise control is effected by the stoplight switch, need to be Normally Closed to allow it to work, and is controlled through the PCM. Possible problems, Driver door switch, Driver actuator, And double check stoplight switch, (will have a nor closed, and a norm open) when pedal is pushed they will reverse positions. Cardoc; Not sure of tech's in his area.
Not to add more confusion but I'd b looking for a wire that is exposed from elements and ware. Check your schematics for your ground points and see of you can find on your truck if the brake wires and wires for your windows run together in any of your wire harnesses. GM and their wires are funny. I had to replace the door switch panel. 40 bucks. It could send power to the wrong areas if it its malfunctioning. They do weird things. But i would check those 2 things. Unplug it from your for it pulls right out. And toss it. Lol. I would thing its ur problem but I'm no professional. But I had a similar issue with an 03 Buick lesabre

Hi Prof. There is no need to go to the dealer, a lot of independents can do all of the required programming.
