Not getting power to fuel pump will crank and start every now and then

Replace pump module.

nope!pushrod said module.he said replace the pump module.in other words,the fuel pump module assembly in the fuel tank!he will be back in early am,him taking nap right now.he will give you details and options for the pump module.

I had a similar problem with my 93 blazer it would start and even run for a couple miles then it quite altogether I replaced the fuel filter then pump relay then fuel pump and screen in tank all together it cost me $50.00 and four hrs.time it's ready for another couple hundred thousand miles try to eliminate each component one by one. Also the fuel pump circuit will go hot as the ignition is turned to start pos.it only stays live for a few seconds ten seconds I believe this is to prime or pressurize the fuel line to start so we don't need to pump the pedal like the old day's things were simple back then
