needs good BLUE spark.

Pull the COIL WIRE off of distributor cap and test the spark... If it's good and hot (40,000 volts) from the COIL WIRE (jump a 3/4 inch gap) and spark from PLUG WIRE does not ... Replace distributor cap and rotor... Common failure on this distributor set up!!
