What is your question?
IT DOESNT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME, BUT MORE FREQUENTLY NOW, OFF & ON FOR 3 WEEKS. THEN THE NEXT TIME I GET IN IT, IT SEEMS FINE. MECHANIC HAS CHECKED AXELS, DIFFERENTIAL, HE DOESN'T FEEL IT IS AN ENGINE PROBLEM. I GOT IT BACK FROM HIM TODAY AND ON MY WAY HOME IT DID IT AGAIN - ALL THE WAY HOME.....UUGGGHHHH

Just to 'push' pushrods point , it's all in the details , and NONE are to small!!! ANY little change in condition , that either aggravates OR cause the symptom to stop , is important! When it does happen , if road/traffic conditions are safe , try and play with the throttle to CAUSE it to happen. Things to watch and note---RPMs , vehicle speed , load condition(level/slightly up-hill/downhill coasting) gear position/selection---With the gear thing....IF the symptom is aggravated at say , 35MPH , see if it does it at 35 whether you are manually selecting 2nd gear , or if you have it in drive. I've said enough , I think you get the drift. Pushrods always rigth.....
Thank you both very much. I will do what you suggest, and report back. Hopefully I can find something that my mechanic can use. Really appreciate your suggestions. I was hopeing someone else had this problem and would be able to tell me what it was. If you hear of anyone else experiencing this, please post it. Thanks again - I'll be in touch.
no pitman arm, not unless parts listing is wrong , but if it did have it..... you would hope they would catch that checking alignment.!!...Rack& pinion..
pitman arm....im assuming he already aligned and balance tires also checking suspension...
Yes he did. I originally thought it needed a front end alignment but he said no.
I did. It was in there twice and he felt it the first time. Today he drove it around town three different times and it won't happen again. He put it up on the lift and checked it out. Nothing. He is at a lose. Any suggestions. It is very bothersome. (thanks for responding)
Exactly when does it do this... When turning on dry pavement?....When braking etc...?... Hear any noise along with it... Got to be a common denominator here!!
Thats just it, doesn't seem to happen at a common time. It has all happened on dry pavement. No noise associated with it. It "seems" like I could smell something twice now (today included). There has been another issue going on, maybe it is associated, idk....the fan on the a/c cuts in and out at will - again, there seems to be no common factor as to when it cuts out. Mechanic couldn't get the fan to cut out. I will have to pay more attention to a common factor. My mechanics says to drive it...it scares me. Your thoughts are welcome. To answer your previous questions, seems to happen driving straight, no turning involved, when braking it slows the shaking down and then it will do some lunging (and it feels like my tires are square).
Hard to do much diagnostics on line!... Post the 'fix' results back here for others to see, me too!!
