Were is the ingition module on a 97 Buick Lasabre 3.8

Pushrod is right ! Take the vehicle to a shop you trust and have them check it out. that way you don't waste time and money on wrong parts that don't fix anything. In the long run it'll be cheaper and a quality fix that should have a warranty.
yes it can.it is the module that the 3 coils sit on top of.before you go and but a new one,take the old one off and have it tested at az,adv,most autoparts can check,before you spend $200.00 on a new one,and it not be the problem.have you checked for spark and fuel?
Have 'mechanic' check car out...you'll save time and money by doing so!!.. It'll wind up being the crank sensor or something else that's not a DIY fix anyway. That's after you've spent all that money ON..AND installed parts it didn't need!
