How do I turn the head lights off so that they are not on during the day?

There is no factory override for the day time running lights. There is a fuse and/or relay that may be removed, dont know the exact position in the underhood fuse/relay box. To see if it is the DRL'S that are what is in question, make sure headlight switch is off and engine is on, then push the park brake down and the DRL'S will turn off! Or high beam indicator will not come on when dimmer switch is toggled. (HEADLIGHT SWITCH OFF!!) Why do you want these DRL'S to be off? The DRL'S is a good safety featute. IF that is what is on during the day. Do they stay on at night?
