2007 buick lacrosse, the transmission shifts hard,irestart it and it goes away .

when i put into gear, and start to drive, when it changes gears. it will make a clunk noise when changing from first gear too second gear, and will do that until i shut off the engine and restart it. and it will stop. but it will happen again ,sometimes the same day or maybe a day later.
