wondering why when I start the car it barley starts battery test good.

if the battery checks good under load then I would check the starter draw

AGREE WITH GOOD GUY BUT HAVE BATTERY TEST AFTER ITS BEEN UNDER LOAD

Since your car is a 2004 and batteries last 4-5 years (hopefully), that would mean it was replaced in 2008/2009. I would say the battery you have in the car is at least four years old, time to be replaced. On the other hand, check the battery again and starter load as someone has previously stated.

If indeed your battery has excellent health, we would check to make sure it's getting enough fuel or spark to start quickly.

Have a battery draw test performed and the alternator tested to see what it is putting out to he battery! CRANKS BETTER AFTER RUNNING! Sure sounds like the battery is weak at first start up, then as it is charged while running it awhile it will start better. Just another thought!
