IF it's in really good shape (?).. That's a good price for the car as far as car sales go.... Keep in mind deep pockets required just for maintenance and hope nothing else happens to it at all... Just saying, I've seen grown people cry when an estimate for repair is given on these vehicles .. It just cost more!
I own a 2005 BMW 645Ci. I bought it from Carmax in 2012 with only 36,500 miles on it. It was certified by Carmax, but I still got a pre-purchase inspection done at a BMW dealership. The BMW dealership told me that it was in excellent condition, so I went ahead and bought it. I bought a 6-year/100,000 mile extended warranty thru MaxCare for $2,500. 2 months into my ownership, I started getting warning lights! The active steering kept malfunctioning, the navigation system was inaccurate, oil leaks, .... My first repair totaled $6,700! I'm soooooo glad I bought the extended warranty! I rarely drive the car.... approx. 7,000 miles per year. The car just hit 70,000 miles. In the time I've owned it, it's been at the shop being repaired at least every other month! Total repairs in the 4 years I've owned it is over $28K! My extended warranty has paid itself off over 10 times already. I still have 2 years/30,000 miles left on my extended warranty but I've decided to sell it. It's too much of a hassle! It's a beautiful car... It's actually my dream car, but owning it has been stressful. You're always wondering what's going to go wrong next! It's a fast car and it's really fun to drive when it's not in the shop! My car is for sale if you're interested. ;) Interior and exterior are in perfect condition. No scratches or dents at all. Rims are perfect. It's always garaged. Mystic Blue Metallic with white leather interior... Fully loaded with the sport package and cold weather package. :)
