it may start and may not.if this is what is wrong with the car,then the battery will need to be charged with a battery charger until fully charged.then it's gonna drain again and STRAND you somewhere!best to either take it straight to a repair shop or take the alternator off your self,take it to have it tested.if it test bad(and it probably will be)replace it,and have the battery tested/charged also. if you continue driving it like it is,you're gonna be on the side of a road/interstate,or an accident somewhere,because it will cut off and you won't have much if any control of it!
