battery must of been disconnected? is the code you found in the manual the same as the radio code in the glove box on the label?
There is a way to get around that. Something with disconnecting the antenna. I'm a Toyota tech but I did it once a while back. Think you can find it on YouTube.
Does yours also have navigation? Radio code is five digits(1-6) and NAVI code is four digits (0-9)
you're welcome..........
My radio would not reset with code either. I was going to disconnect antenna as well, but to much work. I went to an underground garage, and put the code in, and it has worked each of the 3 times I have had to do it. The tip to selecting the right garage, is looking at your phone. If it has no signal the code will take one time to type in and you will hear a beep, and the radio is on.
Yes, I replaced the battery. I will check. Thank you!
you're welcome...if it's the factory radio that came in it,then all you would need to do is enter the 5 digit code and the radio should come back on.if you enter it wrong 3 times,it will lock you out for so long, before you can try again.there are 3 places they could put the code.in the glove box(look good on the door left and right side)inside glove box left or right side.in console, look for a sticker(it will be a 5 digits).if not there, look in the fuse box under hood on the inside of the lid.post findings.
