If the rear window defroster stops working, it is likely due to a controller problem. It has been reported that once the controller is replaced, the problem is resolved.

The outside door handle may break causing the door not to open from the outside.

The steering wheel position sensor may fail causing the Service Stability message to be displayed.

A high pitched tone may be heard from the engine compartment at temperatures below 0 degrees. The repair involves replacing the bypass valve and four o-rings on the back of the radiator.
A moan type sound may be noted in the range of 2300-2500 RPM under moderate throttle applications. Our technicians tell us that the repair for this issue involves replacing the exhaust mid-pipe isolator and re-torquing the mid-pipe clamp.
Vehicles equipped with 4-wheel disk brakes have had a parking brake adjustment added to their 30K interval service.
The retainers on the horizontal wood door trim tend to break after repeated door slamming. Our technicians tell us that the trim can be secured by using silicone adhesive.
It is recommend to change the engine oil and adjust it to the proper level and run the engine to bleed any trapped air from the valve lash adjusters before testing for excessive bleed down.
Care must be taken when opening and closing the manual convertible top. The top is prone to damage from improper use.

The power door lock switch can short-circuit internally causing a battery drain and/or the key operated accessories to function even though the key is off. If the power door lock switch is diagnosed to be the cause, replacement of the switch should fix the concern.

The brake pedal may not return to its fully released position causing the brake lights to stay on. If no brake pedal return spring is in stalled there is a spring kit available. If the brake pedal return spring does not correct the problem the actuator piston should be replaced.
