Once the service battery light comes on should I be getting the vehicle towed?

sounds like a bad alternator.take it to autozone or advance,or oreilly's and have charging system checked.must have a full charge on battery to check the alternator while on vehicle,or false reading will be read.when the alt.quits charging,you are running off the battery.when the battery drains,crazy things happen.everything quits working,because it has no electrical power,including car cutting off and not starting back up.

Read your paperwork, call dealer and have them take care of this under warranty.. Call Ford Motors Corp Office if needed!
