Pleas advise
I'd agree except they would also flash when the key was on if that was the case.
And they may very well be! That's the reason i ask if it did it with the engine running. Ya never know about such things.
all of the lights that comes on when using the remote control to unlock the car. They do not blink when the car is running.
Try taking the battery out of your remotes, one at a time if you have more than one of them. Maybe one of the buttons on one of the remotes is failing and sending a false command to the car. See if that makes a difference.
The brake light and signal lights all blink when the ignition is off and the car is sitting still which causes the battery to be dead.
Just to help, are any of the front lights "blinking" as well? Does it do this with the engine running also?
Those are the same lights that come on if you unlock the car with your key fob correct? Are you also noticing any interior lamps? Has anyone tried pulling codes from all of the modules on the car? I'd want to see this act up with a Tech II scan tool connected and see what modules (if any) are waking up when this occurs.
Turn off the hazard lights. (four way flashers)
