Have you had data ran on scan tool, possible cam sensor, body grounds.
I'll check, will it be in the OBDII freeze frame data?
thanks, check tomorrow... computer is receiving cam and crank sensor pulses, center tower on the coil pack dead, other two towers spark but seem to be very weak and erratic
car won't start now, other mechanic says cam sensor is for fuel injector timing, Could cam sensor cause spark issues??
Can work in conjunction with crank for spark timing.
ok, changed cam sensor (cheap part), stripped entire wiring harness traced every wire per repair manual (no breaks or shorts), installed new ground wire from engine to body, still same problem (4 wires at coil 1 has 12 volts (ok), other 3 are suppose to receives pulses from PCM, (2 are erratic 1 no pulse)) help!!
Is the ECM receiving a crank and cam signal through scan data.
