Right above my oil filter I'm leaking a lot of oil. I've had people say it's coming from what looks like where the engine mounts to the transmission. And also could be a o ring or gasket?

Agree with #1 , but to this point , has anyone actually cleaned and dried it , then while watching , started engine and seen it leaking? Or has it all been guesswork?
Yes it leaks pretty bad I go about 46 miles from home to work and back and I have to put a quart of oil a day to make it there and back. I've had it cleaned and that's when I found out while getting y oil changed that it was leaking from right above where the oil filter is placed.
That sounds like it shouldn't be to hard to spot , like I said , gotta be clean and dry and watching the area BEFORE it is started and oil is all over everything. Pushrods suggestion (answer#1)using UV DYE would be best. .... .....
I had to put 2 gaskets instead of one and that stop the oil leak. Its above where the oil filter screws in. Its something like 3 bolts or maybe 2 but I had to put an extra gasket in it. I just took a gasket off a oil filter and fits about perfect. This part is above where the oil filter screws on and it has gaskets in it and some of them crack.
sorry...did I offend?
