Canadian (Quebec) cannot enter postal code site which is only accepting Zip code. Not from Mi but from Qc. I like this 2009 Camry car, in spite of the problems I had with it. I like much less the service from the dealer. Rear passenger side brake worn out completely at 70,000 km (40,000 miles), obviously the dealere did not want to understand such failure related to initial greasing of the calliper as the other side and front are still on after 100,000km. Other unpleasant situation: soaked wet rugs in front and rear after heavy rain while parked over night. Caused very obviously by dried out rubber seal creating a 1 mm opening between rubber and glass at the base of windshield. Dealer accept not a bit of responsibility as car just beyond warranty for 60,000km. As I had a little crack, got the glass changed under insurance for 50$ and 3 years warranty. Now, for some unknown reason, keys are not functional, then used the procedure of pressing the push start with the electronic key close-by, I started and resumed working. It occurred twice so far; WHY ??? I quit being SERVICED by dealer !!! Byra36

40,000 mile service at the dealer revealed that I need to change the rear brakes. Front brakes are still in good condition. How is it possible that the rear brake wore twice as fast at the fronts? Is it common in this model car? If I put the new pads in will the rear brakes still wear faster than the front?

Purchased this 2009 Camry just 2 months ago. I wasn't really looking for a new(er) car, but this car was in the parking lot of my credit union and was being sold at an excellent price! The car was 1 year old with 11K miles. It was previously owned by a Toyota dealership and used as a 'loaner-car' for customers getting extended service on their cars. It had no defects in the finish, excellent tires (Michelin Energy MXV-4s) and an excellent CarFax showing all the scheduled maint. completed on time. Both recalls regarding SUA (sudden unintended acceleration) were done... including a flash of the computer memory (ECM) so applying the brake will over-ride accelerator. So far this Camry is great. I like the ride... which is very smooth, quiet, with good mileage (26/32). I first started driving Camry's in 1989 where I fell in love with the model. Since then I've owned two '94s, an '02, an '05 and now the '09 (still have the '05). The Camry model has been a reliable model for me. Very low maintenance - good mileage - and comfortable ride. With all the recent bad press about Toyota, I really didn't think I was ever going to buy another Toyota product. I think a lot of the bad press is blown way out of proportion. This car is great!
