1991 Toyota CamryVisitor, Conway, AR, January 22, 2015 15:25My 91 now has almost 260,000 and is still going strong and looking good. Just now replacing a couple of motor mounts and the radiator just developed a seal leak around the top, but parts for all this cost me only about $150. Overall this has been THE best car I've ever owned hands down. Not fancy but ALWAYS runs. CHange the oil and fluids and the absic maintenance items (alternatorm starter, master cylinder, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, PS pump, wheel bearings). I did the CV's myself which was a pain and don't recommend but the new ones will last longer than the car. Hoping to get 300,000. These cars are amazing
1991 Toyota CamryVisitor, Westwego, LA, November 22, 2010 11:48I just bought my 1991 Camry and it has 136,668 miles on it and runs perfect. All it needs is a tune-up and a paint-job, and I will probably change out the belts just to be on the safe side. It's a perfect little car.
1991 Toyota CamryVisitor, Hesperia, CA, April 05, 2010 14:15Yeah so my mom own's one of these cars, I say they're great. But before my mom using it, my dad always used this car to go to work. Since he's a mechanic, boy is the interior horrible now. Other than that, whoever owns a Toyota Camry best to take care of them. They're great cars actually. They run for a long period of time. I saw most of you having problems with this as well, it's easy to fix dents, brake's oil and so on. Fixing dents will require a suction cup at a store. You can do it yourself. If oil leaks, replace the oil caps. Many things I like, would be the great automatic transmission that hasn't broke down on us. The v6 engine that gets quite few engine problems. The interior which is actually comfortable. These cars are great for long drives. Sadly, it's been robbed many times. Keep an eye out, and read the manual carefully. Car's need love too.
1991 Toyota Camryfourknuckle, New Albany, IN, January 03, 2010 15:47Reason I rated exhaust low is the prices of the parts. They seem to be higher than most. I bought the car from a friend for $300. Front left bearing was shot, replaced it for $25. The cat converter is clogged, $400 for a new one and the flex pipe is shot $194 for one of those. Other than that the cars runs fine and suspention is in good condition. Not bad for a car this old and with 200,000 miles on it.Enthusiast
