Why would radio light repeatedly flash on/off followed w/electrical problems?

The battery light started blinking on and off while car was idling with headlights and heater on. Battery light remains on plus anpther alert light (passenger in seat with huge ball shape in lap, I assumed air bag) and ABS light is on also. Everything was fine before the radio light flashed several times before my eyes. The radio controls (on/off) wouldn't work while light flashed on and off but worked when flashing stopped. Drove 65 mph on highway, headlights remained very dim, the electric window would barely open/close, the dash lights dimmed/lit randomly. I noticed headlights seemed less bright previous 2 nights. Motor mount might need replaced, I was advised to check that out recently.
