Steering sector ok? (steering gear) Coupler in steering shaft ok? All tie rods ok? Do you have too much steering wheel lash or play when turning it back and forth, key on engine off? If it just feels loose while driving but steering componets are ok, you need an alignment and check the tires.

Hey brother, I am about to check that now..whenever I am traveling down the road, I have to move the wheel an inch (approx.) Either way to finally get the truck to respond. If it is turned off and I STILL HAVE PLAY in steering then you think its the gearbox? Tie rods? NOT JUST ALIGNMENT? But if its tight while off and ONLY HAS PLAY when driving its alignment? Plz advise. Thanks again.
