why is my low port servicing valve for the a/c bigger than the servicing adapter?

my ac needs servicing so I have freon with a servicing line. The low servicing port is to big for the servicing freon servicing line adapter

Look under hood on passenger side firewall - you see that silver tank with the a/c service port? That silver tank is called a filter dryer - the charging port is on that silver tank - that silver tank is on the passenger side!

Silver tank - - Silver tank - - Silver tank.. Low side fittings are ALL the same size High side fittings are ALL the same size The HIGH SIDE is larger than the low side - (R134A)
