To discover what is causing the misfire will require *hands-on* test by qualified personnel.
Thanks for replying. The rpms do not vary at when it is "missing". I guess I thought they would.
Misfire would have to be pretty severe to change tachometer reading - as in more than one cylinder misfiring.
I had the oil changed earlier this week and was told I have an oil leak. There has been no oil on the floor and no dash sensor lights have come on. I do check oil regularly. Wondering if any relationship between the two
Probably should go ahead and get a complete scan test to determine exactly what’s causing this concern .. This is not only checking for possible stored trouble codes but to look at live data while engine is operating. That is the most reliable and most cost effective route to take. Good luck with it!
