My heated steering wheel only gets warm. When I test drove the Rogue that one got hot. When I first started using it, it smelled like something was burning. Also, why does my collision light come on and stay on for a while when I start my car?
What makes this problem better or worse?

Well I don't think it's wise for the STEERING WHEEL to get HOT ... Warm should suffice! As for the collision light - the vehicle is under factory warranty - have the dealer assist you with that one .. Keep in mind - the owners manual is a *great source* for information about that particular vehicle..
