D4dash light blinks, rough going into reverse and rough take off, seems hard finding gears

'D4' blinking indicates that there are trouble codes stored in the trans control module. Is check engine light on also? If so have that scanned. Post PGM-FI (engine) and A/T codes for more help. Avoid driving car as much as possible.
