Why does my interior lights come on when I've stopped at a light?

thats a short to voltage...the brake light circuit and the interior light circuit (and perhaps the communication part of circuit where dome lights and door warnings must correspond together) have become intertwined...ie copper touching copper...you must get wiring diagram, locate wires, and find the short. I have continental factory wiring diagram for sale if interested...
