Why do the Interior lights stay on after the car is off and locked.

Why don't the interior lights go out after I leave the car and lock it?
What seems to make the problem better or worse? the same when I manually turn the lights out first.
How long have you had this problem? just today

Make SURE front overhead console light override switche is actually set to the DOOR position .. Also the one for cargo area.. Many times these switches can be inadvertently tripped to the ON position - especially in the cargo area when loading / unloading cargo..

Also confirm *ALL* doors are tightly shut - including rear hatch.

possible stuck door jamb switch,(it thinks a door is still open). there is one for each door. google part number 1S3180 for a picture.
