Why do I need to keep adding oil?

(2006 Toyota Corolla)
in Erie, PA on April 19, 2013
This doesn't happen around town, only if I go a distance, like 150 miles. Then I have to add 2 quarts. There is no puddle under the car. I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla.

Have it checked at a shop , where they can put it on a lift to check for signs of leaks , before you damage the engine. May be a leak that only happens under pressure and blows back off the bottom while driving and not accumulating enough to leave a puddle when stopped.

try putting an oil additive in it with your next oil change
