What is your question?
The smell is outside the car and also coming through the interior vents. I live in Phoenix and almost never use the heater. Could it be the heater core if heater is seldom used? When facing the engine the smell is strongest on the left side of the radiator when car is off or running. Any assistance would be appreciated.

could be the hearter core. is the floor board wet on p/s in carpet area. if so you can possibly by pass the heater core depending o type of system. yes not using the haeter leaves old coolant in core to eat a t welds and alum.so its actually harder on them
I have the same problem with mine. Smell of antifreeze all of the time, not just when I run my air. No leaks, floor board not wet. I have no clue what the problem is.
Same with me...nothing was obvious. I ended up replacing the radiator, it had a small pin hole leak in it that was not detectable when I looked it over. The smell is gone now. You can try this but it may not fix your problem if it's not the radiator. Good Luck!
Thanks for your response. The floorboards are dry. Do you have any other ideas on what it may be? I see no leaks anywhere.
maybe is only leaking under pressure. have the cooling system oressure tested when eng is warm
