25000 miles is about right for pads. Most mechanics will try to sell you the rotors even if you don't need them. If you did not wear the pads down to the point of grinding the rotors should be ok. I have gone in to get break pads and have had guys try to sell me new calipers and rotors. Pads are easy to replace and cost around 40 dollars.
i have 72,000 on mine right now,all 4 wheels. i don't buy parts at Autozone,but these Duralast Gold Ceramic Pads have been good to me!!! but not on a Fusion,it's a 2000 Ford F150,312,000 miles.Fusion is having way to many problems,even new ones!!
