where is the thermostat located

after put a stop leek in the radiator and the fan running fine the car is still running hot.

Follow your upper rad hose to the engine and that should be the thermostat housing. I would suspect flow probs in the rad core because of age and stop leak in system, have checked with infrared temp gun.
