What is your question?
I realize this is basic but...

That's taking the easy way out!.. Now look in the owners manual index in the back of the book under dash controls or the basic control pictures in the front of the book and learn this yourself.. You really need to learn how to use that book as it knows more about your car than anyone out here... I will post the answer this time but do look it up !... Lower drivers side of dash, look for an image of a light bulb and a white stripe that's narrow at the bottom and wider at the top... Turn the little wheel upward to brighten or downward to dim... Next time you need assistance, you might not be able to get on the internet ... But you will have that book! .. Technology just might be the ruination of this world one day... IF it ain't on some sort of screen, then it must not exist!
hey bonehead!must not have been to basic for you,or while you were in your business meeting(probably in a porta-jon,taking a dump?first thing, lights not real bright(LIKE YOU).....a-ha, dimmer switch! don't be using neighbors car, don't wash neighbors car and don't worry about lights being dim in neighbors car in the DAYLIGHT! everybody just assumes they don't need an owners manual.well, guess what,if neighbor would have had one, then this BASIC NO BRAINER QUESTION would never had been asked!no google on phone or computer?google.why lights dim inside car on instrument panel>answer, check DIMMER SWITCH!you said it right,LIGHTS ARE VERY DIM!!!!
Nimrod, Context is important in life, especially before running off at your keyboard/mouth. While I am not certain why I am wasting any time with this, here is some backstory. Yesterday morning while at a business meeting, I received a voice mail from my aunt asking the question posted. She was driving a neighbor's car, actually taking several senior citizens to and from medical appointments. As a courtesy she took the car through a car wash and afterward noticed that the dash lights were very dim. THERE WAS NO OWNER'S MANUAL IN THE CAR. As I only had a short break and had heard about RepairPal, I thought that would be the best means of helping someone who always helps others. She had been assisted before any answer was received. We thank you for your answer and for showing folks that even pompous asses can be helpful. I am certain that you will find some concocted response to further justify your pretentiousness. P.S. This was written without using any technology past this web site.
Thank you for the reply .. Very cosmopolitan! .. Seems FREE advice is hard to come by these days.... I think there is some kind of trick called a download.. Owners manual download is available - for free .. That would be a more useful courtesy for the nice neighbor!.. . Now, do you mean "Context' is important in life".. OR .. CLAIRVOYANCE?? .. I just answer em as I see them.. Adios!
