Where is pcv located on this model would faulty pcv valve cause surge

(2002 Volvo S80)

When accelerating hard car surges not as bad when in manual shift mode.would bad pcv cause this condition? oil leaking onto exhaust leaks approximately a quart every thousand miles

According to the vacuum diagram it shows it in the rear area of the intake manifold.

I know it will or could cause oil consumption or loss but do u think it would cause the surge under hard acceleration. its really noticeable in normal automatic mode but not as bad when using manual automatic mode.

It could cause a lean code and depending on the severity of the leak for the surge.
