when should brake fluid be changed?

Unless its contaminated, never! .. Even less likely to need changing in that dry climate! .. Does it still look clear or black in color? It's not going to hurt anything to change it, just be aware that most of the time it's simply a sales pitch.... Kinda like a so called fuel system flush..
