the problem occurs after i put it in park and take key out , the truck wont shut off then the check engine light comes on!!!

Just had the same problem with my 2007 Escalade EXT. I was told that my ignition modules are bad. Having both replaced now and due to this replacement you must have new keys programed. It's running me around $800 through a personal mechanic.
