What is the part called that holds down the camshaft?

Thats what i thought it was but its almost impossible to find one. I threw the wrench out. It was old and wouldnt kick.

Try salvage yard or dealer .. You need a good inch pound torque wrench for this... Either engine calls for inch lbs of torque... You didn't post engine size... Torque specs and sequences are different!

Okay thank you! Im going to buy a new one. Had to replace my timing chain tensioners amd now i have a pcv leak also.

Get the PVC valve system parts at the dealer also, often the aftermarket valves internal spring tension is incorrect.

Okay will do. Theres a dealership up the road hopefully it will start running better soon! Gonna switch out the coil packs also cause its idleing hard and hard shifts between 4th and 5th gear.

Scan test with a really good, high quality scanner sure would help on this one! .. I realize everyone wants to save money so maybe a buddy has a good scanner .. I'm telling you that's a must on these vehicles anymore.. Good luck with it!

I have ran it several times. Had a mis fire in 6th and 7th cylinders. Put in all new plugs. Check engine light went off then came on the next day with the pcv.
