Has it been confirmed by qualified personnel at couple different repair facilities that the rear main seal is indeed the culprit?

Yes they added trace dye and thats were the leakw as detected

Thing is labor rates vary from shop to shop - best advice is to get estimates from multiple repair shops but donâ€™t skimp out quality workmanship. Good luck with it!

This is a very labor intensive repair - so it is not going to be cheap..

they quoted me $1050. I dont know if the dealer make a free diagnosis just to be sure it is the same thing.
