What could be wrong with my car and do you think it's the repair shops fault?

On Monday a repair shop had replaced my radiator because I had a tube that broke off of it. Well I got my car back and it is now Friday. My family and I were out at the drive in and right when we were getting there to pay we heard my car make a pop sound. We then realized my car was over heated and smoking. We let it cool down then tried to get it home. Within driving 5 miles my car started to over heat again and started smoking. So what could have happened and should the shop be held responsible?
