What controls the up function for drivers side door window?

Lower glass and spray 'silicone' lube in front and back window guide tracks for that window...let spray run down as far as you can into door... With the engine running, the alternator is sending more voltage to the elect system, this gives the window motor a boost to 'raise' window, so It's also possible the window motor/regulator is failing!!.. I see this quite often!
